On Wednesday, April 28th, Chabad of SE Morris County will begin a new Jewish Learning Institute course entitled "Beyond Never Again-How the Holocaust Speaks to Us Today". The six –week course will meet on six consecutive Wednesdays beginning April 28th from 7:30pm- 9pm at the Chabad Center located at 42 Park Ave in Madison.

Beyond Never Again was created by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute- an internationally acclaimed adult education program running on over 300 cities worldwide, and boasting over 75,000 students. This particular course is structured as a six-step program, and lessons will examine and explore the ways in which the Holocaust continues to affect our generation and colors what it means to live as a Jew today.

"The Holocaust forces us to grapple with the existence of evil and suffering. It challenges us to find faith and optimism in the face of devastation and despair. And it humbles us as we encounter heroes of the spirit who fought for truth and decency in the darkest of times. In this course we will explore the responses to suffering- in a spiritually uplifting, meaningful and inspirational way, said Rabbi Shalom Lubin, JLI Instructor and Director of Chabad of SE Morris County.

The course fee is $75 , which includes the course workbook and all materials. All attendees are welcome to attend the first class on April 28th free of charge. There is also a special couple’s rate of $125. A limited number of scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Chabad of SE Morris County is a Jewish outreach and educational organization located at 42 Park Ave in Madison. Chabad seeks to strengthen and promote Jewish unity, awareness, and pride; by providing educational, religious, and social services to Jewish families and individuals from all backgrounds and affiliations.
