A recent study found that only half of American Jews younger than 35 are comfortable with the idea of a Jewish state. In response, the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute is holding a six-week course called "Israel: The Land and the Spirit" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. starting Oct. 30 at the Lubavitch Jewish Center, 402 Plantation Road.
