Chabad Jewish Center of Coral Springs will take part in a unique men’s trip to Israel in November.

Rabbi Yankie Denburg, who leads the center with his wife Chana, said the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute’s Land & Spirit men’s trip to Israel will offer “an unparalleled experience of bonding, exploration, and spiritual growth” for men across the U.S.

Denburg said the invitation-only trip, scheduled for Nov. 4 through Nov. 10, will feature “a beautiful mix of solidarity with Israel, deeply enriching activities, exclusive tours, and meaningful camaraderie” specially tailored for men.

Participants will stay at the Prima Kings Hotel in Jerusalem. The subsidized cost of the trip is $2,900 per person, which includes a shared hotel room. All accommodations, most meals, and transportation in Israel are included in the price.

The cost of airfare is not included in the $2,900 trip price and must be purchased separately by participants.

Anyone choosing to travel with the Denburgs can fly El Al airlines nonstop from Miami to Tel Aviv on Sunday, Nov. 3, he said. They are scheduled to return on Monday, Nov. 11.

Denburg said participants can also fly separately and join the trip once they are in Israel or if they are already in the country.

The Denburgs previously led three Land & Spirit trips to Israel in March of 2016, 2018, and 2023.

Chana Denburg also led two separate Israel trips with Momentum – formerly known as the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project – that were exclusively for young mothers in the summer of 2018 and 2019.

Yankie Denburg said the November trip, planned under the leadership of JLI’s Land & Spirit team, will be his first men’s trip.

The Denburgs’ previous trips were coordinated with the Israel Defense Forces and other relevant authorities. They also had private security on all prior trips.

The rabbi said participants on the November trip will be well-protected and should feel safe traveling in Israel.

The IDF is currently fighting a multi-front war that began with Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on southern Israel. Israeli authorities continue to encourage tourism to the country to help its economy and show solidarity.
