SPARTA — Beginning next week, The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute of Sussex County (located in Sparta) will explore the comprehensive and often surprising concepts, advice and guidelines that Jewish law, ethics, philosophy and mysticism have articulated about environmental issues.
In a series of hour-long classes given once a week as part of the JLI’s Torah Studies program, this study will delve into the complex interactions between man, nature and the Divine, and will enlighten our relationship with our natural environment, both as individuals and as responsible citizens.
