Chabad Jewish Center of Greater St. Petersburg will offer an adult education course on the Jewish approach to criminal justice beginning Wednesday. “Crime and Consequence” is a six-part series. The course from the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute will address questions of crime, punishment and justice from a Jewish perspective. Topics will include “What’s the purpose of prison: punishment, deterrence or rehabilitation?” and “What’s Judaism’s position on the death penalty?” Classes will be held 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Chabad Jewish Center of Greater St. Petersburg, 4010 Park St. N.
